The Missoula Chapter H.O.G. will be hosting their 1st Annual Biscuits & Gravy Cook Off on Saturday, January 28th at Grizzly Harley Davidson. There is no charge to enter but you must sign up no later than Friday, January 20th so we know how many contestants to expect. Please notify us by email at director@grizlyhd.com of your intent to register and to request a registration packet.
What Are the Prizes
- Best overall Biscuits & Gravy combo will receive a $100.00 gift certificate to Grizzly Harley Davidson.
- Best Biscuits will receive a $50.00 gift certificate to Grizzly Harley Davidson.
- Best Gravy will receive a $50.00 gift certificate to Grizzly Harley Davidson.
Contestants plan to set up at 9:00am. Public serving begins at 10:00am. All Biscuits & Gravy should be on the premises ready to be served by 10:00am. Judging will take place throughout the event. We hope to have a diverse group of entries this year with a wide variety of Biscuits & Gravy to present. We encourage you to invite your family and friends to come and participate.
How Do I Sample Entries
Biscuits & Gravy Cook Off Staff will be selling tickets to all individuals who wish to sample some of the delectable creations for $5.00. Participants will receive a free set of tasting cups for sampling
What Do I Need to Bring in Order to Compete
- 1 gallon minimum of Gravy
- 2-3 dozen Biscuits
- A way to heat and hold your Gravy at a temperature of 135 degrees (crock pot/slow cooker) to keep your Gravy hot.
- Serving utensils, spoons, cutting board, knives etc.
- Table covering
- A completed Entry Form
- A completed and signed Food Service Checklist to go with your Entry form
